All Onela bags are made from vegetable-tanned aniline cowhide. The leather is worked the old-fashioned way and achieves its color from roots and barks, rather than harsh toxic chemicals.  The aniline finish is clear, and its use ensures that the natural character of the hide will always be seen and enjoyed as the leather ages.
